Join the YVR2 Bargaining Committee
Hello!
It's time to vote for your Bargaining Committee. This committee plays a key role in representing you and your co-workers during collective bargaining negotiations. Committee members are responsible for:
- Attending all bargaining meetings with the employer and the union to discuss contract terms and conditions.
- Collaborating with fellow committee members and union leadership to develop effective negotiation strategies.
- Communicating with members to ensure their concerns and priorities are accurately reflected in the bargaining process.
The committee's role is essential in ensuring that the collective voice of the membership is heard and that we secure the best possible agreement for everyone.
We are looking for:
- 2 members from Level 1 (FC Associates)
- 1 member from Level 3 (FC Associates)
- 1 member to represent the Service Technicians
- 1 member to represent Transportation
An election for some of these positions will commence on Thursday, October 2nd at 12:00 pm (Pacific Time) and close on Saturday, October 4th at 12:00 pm (Pacific Time). You will vote by secret ballot online and a separate email with the voting instructions will be sent to you prior to the start of the vote. You will be emailed directly from the Simply Voting platform to cast your vote. If you do not receive an email by October 3, please contact [email protected].
