Dear Unifor members,

Over the past few days, your bargaining committee has been at the table with Amazon. We want to keep you updated on where things stand.

We have made some progress, and there are areas where the two sides have moved closer together. But we are still far apart on several issues that matter most to you: workload and speed-up, vacation entitlement, sick time, wages, and proposed changes to shifts and scheduling. Your committee is not backing down on these.

What happens next

The independent mediator will soon issue formal recommendations to both sides. These will be a neutral third party's view of how the process should move forward. Once we receive those recommendations, we will review them carefully and share a full update with you, including what they mean, and how your bargaining committee plans to respond.

We know waiting is not easy. We appreciate your patience and your continued solidarity.
